I just talked to my mother over the phone and she confirmed this information. The Philippine Horticultural Society together with the Philippine Orchid Society will host a huge garden show at the end of February. She is a member of both societies, the two most active plant societies in PI. It will be held in Intramuros, the Spanish fort in Manila, right acrosss the Manila Hotel. There will be a plant exhibit and commercial area where u can buy plants and meet plant collectors and growers coming from all over the PI. Anybody who is planning or thinking of visiting PI, this is the right time to do it...2 shows in 1. Sighhhhhh...I wish i could go home.
