It's excellent, I used to use it years ago when I got it from the egg farmers and also when I had my own chickens.

I don't recommend that you try my other favorite though, this should give you a good laugh, I used to bury whatever was left after I cleaned fresh-caught fish.

Also years ago I turned plain old sandy soil into highly productive soil by adding the composted hay that we piled up when we cleaned out our horse stalls. Somehow I always found myself around smelly things LOL.

LOL! I know about the fresh fish "leftovers" - my grandmother used to bury them around her plants too. I've been using fish oil fertilzer for quite a while, but for some odd reason, I can't find any this year, and I'm totally out.

This stuff is slow-release; I'm thinking to use it in the earthbox with the tomatoes. And I have some dianthus that are growing well, but the foliage is a bit yellowish - maybe this will help it.

I tell you one thing, though - it was definitely NOT a good idea to open the bucket in the house!

PV, I found granular Alaska brand fish fertilizer at WallyWorld last year, and I noticed they have it this year too. I bought a small bucket of it so I should have it for a while.
