Raised bed question

I know this is off topic, but I'm hoping for some advice! I need more room for my WS plants!

I've managed to use all the usable flat space in the yard. Next step is to tackle the hill that is my backyard. It's a good bit of an incline, although I don't know what degree. I've never tried to grow stuff on a hill. I want raised beds because our soil is so full of rocks and clay. Can I just throw things together on the incline, or should I level the beds? I plan on using cinderblock. Or I might just dig out a patch and ammend so my squash can just take over the hill...

any thoughts?

Thanks!

Leisa
