There are some interesting names with which Taro is referred to. I would like to know how you cook it (leaves, roots)? We make some dishes where Taro is boiled and then stir fried with spices like turmeric, chilly powder etc.

Bangladesh: mukhi kochu

India - kasu, Thekera, pan, ghandyali, chembu-kizhangu, sivapan-kizhangu (seppankilangu or cheppankilangu), chamagadda, chaama dumpa, kochu, saru, arbi, arvi

Nepal - pindalu, karkalo
