Do you all fertilize your veggie plants? If yes, when and what do you use?

    This is probably a question best asked in the Soil, Compost, Mulch forum.

    It's best to get your soil tested at your county extension. Then amend your soil appropriately according to the results. This way you're not guessing and wasting money. It's also best to use compost created from at least five different materials and avoid synthetic, chemical fertilizers.
