Ailing Asclepias
Hello everyone:
I winter sowed Asclepias Incarnata last year and they bloomed beautifully. Over the last few days the tops of the plants in the clump beside my fence started to look a bit 'droopy', and the leaves had a bit of a curl to them, but I could not see anything on the plants. Today they had all fallen to the ground and I had to tie them up. Has anyone ever had this problem? The 'droopiness' is similar to what happens to my Hydrangeas which are infected with leaf roller, but there is no evidence of this on the plants. The other clumps in the garden are not affected. These plants are approximately 4 feet tall and have hollyhocks on either side. This pic. showed them this afternoon after I had tied them up. Any ideas?
Thank you,
Northerner.
