As we all know, sometimes our love for gardening gets a bit infectious, and we just simply love to spread the disease, don't we?

Well, today I welcomed my mother into the ranks of winter-sowing. My parents go through a lot of milk jugs, so I asked them to start saving them for me so I can use them as containers for my winter-sowing. So far they've saved up about a dozen (not bad for 2 people in 1 month), and Mom called to ask how many I wanted. This led to us talking about how easy winter-sowing is, and her response of "I can do that!" LOL! So, not only is she going to be a winter-sower too, she's discussing with my father the best place to put all of her jugs during the winter, which may lead to Dad building a small holding-pen for her jugs so they don't blow away during a winter storm.

Don't you just love it?!?
