I seek to either trade this Yushania Anceps propagule or give it away. Do not have any guilt if you take the plant without giving anything in exchange. If the recipient plans to give me something I would like either a clumping bamboo or a bamboo that can grow well in a pot. The plant preferably should not grow too tall (I am planning on putting my next bamboo in a greenhouse so probably no more than 10-12 feet) and should tolerate high temperatures (at least into the low 90s during mid-day).

One of the reasons I am offering to give it away is that I am not entirely certain whether or not it will ever send up shoots since it is the propagule I ever recieved from dividing a bamboo.

I acquired this plant by removing a section of a larger Yushania Anceps. This propagule has a few relatively small culms. This plant does not tolerate warm temperatures well so be advised. I would say that if it is is sunlight anything above 80F seems to cause some negative reaction however it usually is in the upper 80s that damage starts to set in. Yushanai Anceps is usually classified as a clumping bamboo however it is known to spread a good distance.

Exposure to excessive heat and sunlight seem to be quite harmful over a period of time.

I plan to give it to the first taker unless the transaction gets cancelled.
