Sound pretty nice! Since I've started WSing Rudbeckias and Coreopsis have become my fav's.

Last year was my first year WSing Rudbeckia and they are now in their first year bloom. They are larger plants than I expected - about 3 feet tall - and the blooms look like sunflowers, except they are more of them. I will post a pic. when they are fully out. I hope this one is perennial in my zone. The lablel on the seed simply said Rudbeckia bronze, and the germination was excellent. Perhaps I should sow a few more this year just in case.

Mine is bronze too, but it looks different than yours.

If you keep deadheading, they will last all summer (as long as they don't get mildew).

I'm glad you still have my pretty ones Wendy. Mine stayed true for many generations. Now, not so much. Some have dark eyes. Some have orange in the petals. Some are still the same yellow with green eye but they're definitely not stable anymore. I might have to beg seeds from you one of these days.
