I am trying not to feel like an idiot that 205 OTHER people (smile) seem to have been successful at placing their pins so far! I just can't seem to "move the pin" when instructed. I click on it, hold it down and try to move the cursor to my location, but it does not do anything...

Any hints?

If I remember right just click on the pin and enter your info it will move to your location. :) Carol

We figured it out together Nan, I am glad this could be taken care of so quickly.

Thank you to everyone who has already placed a pin on the map. It's nice to see the large amount of people who--on the first day of the map--have made their mark ;-) The map will remain on the front page of WinterSown indefinitely. After a year I think it it will give us a good idea about how many we really and where we all are. The map will show the clustering of Winter Sowers in regions and from there many good things can come; like get-togethers and swaps, "seedling babysitting" while someone is ill or has to be away, lists of plants for local IPM, or attracting birds, bees and butterflies, etc.

Trudi,this is a great idea! Thanks! :)

Well, I seem to be on there, but I don't remember writing "hi" to myself and I can't seem to figure out how to change it. Pic is of my garden helper.

ok ya have to put your location in then, continue, info, like push add yourself(on the left hand side) , then i think i pushed it again, like a couple of times, cuz i didn't know if it was done. LOL ummm i'm not so good at these things, but thats how its done. :'>>
