Lacinato kale and Swiss chard grow year round for me but under filtered sun. I thought they were only winter vegetables but they took the heat.

I wish I had a shade tree or any shade for that matter. I have my garden under row cover but its only a 15% block so my lettuces have just started to want to bolt. Hopefully with the next several cool days will give them a chance to calm down and recover.

Thanks for the great feedback toucan. I have Lacinto & Swiss seeds, so I'll be planting those. I have been unable to find any seedlings/ transplant starts at any of the nurseries for Lacinto unfortunately.
