I have had this dwarf banana for at least 4 years. It has done well and have given pups to friends. The past couple of weeks the top leaf is turning black before it opens. I cut off the tip but it keeps going down. I am afraid I am losing the battle. I live in the UP of Mich so it is potted. Is it root bound? I havent transplanted for a while. The main plant died last summer and this is a pup that is growing. Any one??? Should I take it out of the pot to see what is going on???
