What is causing this on musa basjoo leaf

Hello everyone,

A newbie question here....any idea what is causing this on my musa basjoo leaf? I have 2 plants in a container with a south facing window with shutters

I have the same thing on some of my musa and on all my red rowe bananas but has since stopped as outside temps have warmed up now so my guess is its from dry COLD winter air that dries out further after being heated indoors,thats my guess anyway,see what the next leaves look like.
