I remember someone (I think it was you) last season who posted San Remo x Bogota and it was a knockout! This is very different, quite soft and pretty.

Another bloom from this cross has appeared. The first was very like apple blossom in the distribution of colours, while this one has more pink, and is more similar to San Remo in this respect. There are still 5 more buds waiting to appear. So far the news is good - apple blossom-like blooms CAN be produced from seed.

I have one seedling, I hope, of Fairytale x Appleblossom but it will take years to see the first bloom. And then there is the chance it did get devoured by my little "helpers" Coco and Mimmi, my Cornish Rex -cats...

HereâÂÂs a surprise - all the flowers so far have been following the script and giving apple-blossom-like blooms, but this one has delved into its gene pool and come up with a solid red appearance, while preserving the apple-blossom like shape.
