So sorry about the mayhem in your greenhouse!! It must have been a critter of some sort that caused your damage I doubt it was the hippies themselves having an argument but one never knows if one was jealous of the other's beautiful flowers!âºâº

It could have been that the voluptuous H. Bouquet grew too full for it's own good, and just toppled. I failed to stake it and it was on a middle shelf with the scape growing out the side. H. Red Nymph was just minding it's own business; I'm guess it it was blindsided by H. Bouquet as it toppled. The buds of that double were just ready to open, and when they hit the floor they really traveled. No vermin, as the sides are staked down...could only be a little green lizard....or a giant bee?? Not a NBF, but a huge bee (body is black and not fuzzy) has been buzzing around the azaleas the past week. One got in the GH, but I got it out...too big for a lizard lunch!!

Could it have been the high winds we had. I had several bloom scapes blown over in the yard. I got them staked up today and hope they will be OK.
