starting now

should I start perinials now by just putting seeds where I may want them? I was out of town early and my b/freind didnt have a clue as to trimming to give space or root room.

perinials propagate themselves, some bi-annuals take 2 years to bloom. I want color... not the kind you get at the nursery or Lowes.

I want flowers next year lush, colorful flowers
