is it edible?

I googled pics of 'Belinda's Dream' rose, Rich and it's really pretty! Neat that it's fragrant too. I've grown lots of roses in my prior Scottsdale garden, but currently only have a spring-planted 'Tombstone' rose (Lady Banks rose) from a friend who went to Tombstone to see the world's largest rose bush and brought back a cutting from it (I bought one too last time I visited it but planted it in my prior garden). I'll put Belinda's Dream on my list for a fancy flowered type, thanks for mentioning it! Happy gardening!

All roses are edible if no pesticides or fungicides are used on the blooms or as a soil additive. Guard petals need to be removed (outer petals are bitter) and thoroughly washed and dried. I used a salad spinner and paper towels. There are hundreds of recipes for various parts of roses. Darker, fragrant petals are recommended. Belinda's Dream isn't a dark rose but does have fragrance.
