Does bordering bananas restrict or slow their growth? I figured they'd just send roots below a border but I'm not sure. I see roots that run along the top side of the soil also. I was considering bordering 3" inch deep and 4' ft diameter my Musa Acuminata. Would it be best to not border my banana? Thanks.
