I looks like it to me but I could be wrong. Here is a picture of a virused plant that was over at my father's several years ago. Your leaves have a different look but as your climate is probably much hotter than mine that 'might' account for the bleached lighter look to your leaves.

Again, this is just my opinion but I wouldn't let this plant, however special it may be, near mine!!

Unfortunately, that is mosaic virus. Those "blocky" patches of light and dark green are very characteristic.

I just lost most of my bulbs to HMV and that looks like a pretty bad case. Which hybrid is that? The virus will appear differently in different hybrids. Also, I think that papilio and 'Half and Half' might be immune. Some hybrids appear to be more susceptible.
