The pest control companies charge a lot of money in my area for a 3 application summer program. I have a sprayer and a ladder and would like to just do it myself because then I know it is done correctly.

I am looking for a concentrate to mix and spray the soffits, corners and around the foundation 2-3 times this summer to prevent infestation. I have heard that some insecticides/pesticides can stain vinyl siding and I have even noticed some are petroleum based. Which I wouldn't want to spray on my siding.

One that I do have on hand is Bayer Complete Insect Killer that I have to use from time to time when Japanese Beetles are overwhelming. This contains Imidacloprid and �-Cyï¬Âuthrin which are toxic to bees but I don't know about the staining properties.
