A review of this product for mason bees, which I bought this year to replace the Knox Cellars straw/liner system, from which I could never manage to extract the liners with the bees inside.

The bee chalet is a set of interlocking trays that hold the Knox liner straws. I set out two, which were almost entirely ignored by the bees. Today, disassembling them to remove any straws containing bees, I realize why. They were WET inside! The straws were all soaked.

I certainly won't use them again. A waste of a not inconsiderable outlay of money.

I note that a few unprotected paper liners, residing in one of my usual coffee cans, were quite dry.
