I just went to the bottom and clicked on page 3 [thinking it was around that time frame and got lucky] and scrolled. A while back I was looking for this same post and someone else found it for me. Be nice if we could do stickies here. Maybe there is a trick for bookmarking a thread that someone will tell us about.

marymcp, here is how its done here at Garden Web.

You can save a post in your "Clippings". When the post is saved a link to the thread it came from is saved along with it in your "Clippings". You can also add a not to each of the posts you add to your clippings.

Here is how its done......

To the right of each post there is a menu for "Clippings". To save one click on "clip this post". When you do a new page will open where you can add a note to the clipped post. You can also choose to make the clipping public or private. When you are finished adding a note or not as the case may be. Click on the highlighted "SAVE TO MY CLIPPINGS" and you are done.

To see your clipping click on your "My Page" next to your user name in each post. When the page opens just click on "See my Clippings" and you can see all of your saved clippings.

Okay, I did that. Now, is there a way to go to My Page without opening a thread I've posted to? Please don't tell me it's staring me in the face because I looked on the front page before coming back in to this thread. :-))
