i have had the bananas for a few months.. dont seem to be growing any bigger. do i need to cut down the smaller tree next to it? is it drawing the energy from the fruiting tree? i keep getting baby trees but i cut them when they grow out of the dirt, thanks.

    Once the bananas puff up they are done , just wait till they get a little yellow then pick them and hang them.....
    The pups are how the plant reproduces you are not getting any benifit from removing them at this point... 3 plants in a group is best for producing fruit .
