konrad - please don't take this as a complaint - but maybe you'd consider posting your photos in the Gallery section?
I, for one, enjoy your pictures very much but as I'm still using a dialup modem (at home), the messages where you've embedded a photo(s) take a long time to load. It seems to me the Gallery section has been set up specifically for this. Alternately, you could provide a link to your photos rather than embedding them in your message posting. Thanks for the consideration.

thisbud4u - a question for you: Is anyone keeping track of how far north the AHB are going along the coastline? (where are they now?).

Konrad, HOLY COW! That's an awesome swarm. Do you think that's half of a hive? If so , imagine how big that colony was.

that's too bad,.. this one was only about 10 feet away from my hive, knowing it's not a wild one and not to worry about other sicknesses
like AFB.

I'm not sure, it's possible,.. the suspecting hive with bee loss still looks pretty busy, you're right, ...2 deep brood box with 3 deep super can hold a ton of bees.
