Our bees are still gobbling up the pollen and nectar from flowers. Here in Central Texas we get flowers almost year 'round, which leads to chubby bees!
We have stocked up on sugar so we can give them supplemental feeding in January and February when the natural sources are fewer.
Our girls kicked the drones out about two weeks ago, when we had the first cold front move in and the temps dropped to the mid-40s overnight. A drone's life is a happy one, if brief.

I think the drones are digging in their heels and refusing to go. They don't want to freeze to death. It's below freezing most nights. I was surprised to see some still buzzing about.
