Or maybe its not Super Curl now that I've read a few of your posts. Anyway, it was labeled that way at the nursery. Because it was on a clearance rack, the rest of the plant is a bit faded so I will have to wait.

rexes always puzzle me...i've had that plant or something similar and i never put a name on it. 'China Curl,' 'Purple Curl,' 'Super Curl' are all possibilities...

Here is another one I got the same day again on the clearance rack. It was labeled Rex Begonia 'Hemsleyana' but it looks nothing like any search I've found under that name. It is either mislabeled or a tag moved out of another pot. I did tell myself I would not get anymore rexes, especially purply red ones. I like the rhizo types better. They mix into the garden easier and stay healthier for me. But here I am with another one. And it was on sale...
And it's still better (and cheaper) than a pointsetta.
