I'm not sure what you can grow in your zone but I grow daylilies in big tubs on my back deck. And I have a big cement planter by the front porch that is waterproof, there is yellow flag iris, blue flag iris, bengal tiger canna & assorted rushes in it. The tubs should work well, you'd probably have to put the plants in pots so you could pull them in for the winter (mine stay in year round but I'm zone 9b). Happy bogging! Tally HO

well, if you're into pitcher plants, venus fly traps and sundews then you're in luck!

I've found all of the Sarracenias hardy here as well as the VFT and droseras intermedia, filiformis and rotundifolia. You can then mix in some cranberries, native orchids like Calopogon and Spiranthes and you've got yourself a great bog garden! Everything I grow can be grown in your area so have at it!
