Shady bog garden

I added a bog area to my water garden when I put it in a few years back but the boggy part has gotten shadier due to tree and shrub growth, and the pitcher plants and primula florindae that grew there previously are failing or have died. Before I take out the peat and convert it to a plain old (sigh) shade garden, I would love it if someone could give me suggestions for hardy (zone 4/5) bog plants that could thrive, or simply tolerate, boggy, shady conditions.

Thanks,

Kate
