According to Tim Anderson, of Palm Hammock Orchid Estates (see link below), B. 'Plum Gorgeous' is a, quote:

"Fantastic landscape plant for South Florida."

Jane thank you so much for your respond. My concern is the winter time, because I am not in South Florida, I am in Tampa area and we might have some freeze like last winter. How hardy those varieties?

Greg is on the Yah** begonia group and he says his begonias have come back with a fury. He lost some but said that gives him some room for new ones.

Not sure I follow: "same name gregsytch"? There is only one that I am aware of - sells box'o'begonias, does a newsletter in The Begonian, lives in New Port Richey, etc.
