Do a goggle search for begonia torsa. I did and found tons of info on this begonia. I didn't copy down the websites, or I would have included them here, sorry.

I got 3 little bulbils of Torsa from a friend in CA back in the fall. I laid each one on top of the soil in a different cup the following week and have a plastic clear cup on top for a humidity cover. I forgot about them since I had not seen any growth for the first few weeks. Yesterday I saw that they are all up and have a decent size leaf which looked very similar to grandis. I wish I could give you more information on it but I'd treat it like grandis. Just keep in mind that grandis goes dormant in winter and the best thing is to ignore it because they will come back up when conditions are right.

When I got my first one that I think I killed, there wasn't any info online. I think the reason that I have not had much success with it is that it is too hot here for it. And maybe, since Sacramento is having such an extended spring this year, it is happier.
