My tiny bog garden

This was my first attempt at growing carnivorous plants. I bought a rubber feed bowl from the Tractor Supply Store, put some play sand in the bottom, filled with perlite and peat moss. I topped it off with live sphagnum moss. I overwintered Sarracenia flava and S. purpurea. They feed bowl is buried 2-3" below the soil level to let it drain. Both are coming back very nicely. Now that I have overwintered these guys, I want to make a bigger bog garden.

I think I'll be visiting Cady's Falls Nursery to pick up a few more plants.
