It depends on the location as to what the sales room is like. Some conventions have large rooms and some have small rooms but most people are friendly even though it may be very crowded for the first hour or two. Plants come from members (some rare terrarium plants and generally cost more) and commercial growers (the bulk). Usually there are lots of plants and many varieties and prices are usually quite low compared to anywhere else. Some plants are quite small so beware of that while others are well grown and ready to move up.

You usually have to be registered to enter the sales room on the first night (show your ID to get admitted) but exceptions are often made if you are an ABS member. After the first night (Friday) the sales room is open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday.
