IF this is the form which has been grown in the begoniasociety since the l970's, it is a small, tuberous begonia with beautiful markings on the small leaves. I usually grow it under lights, it doesn't need much room, but if grown in a heated room it will need some humidity protection. If you have grown begonias from seed before, just continue what you are doing, but the days or light should be more than l2 hours or the plant will go dormant (but there will be a little tuber in the soil). I also read someplace that this is now consdered a variety of B. xanthina.

Thanks woebegonia, acutally I have a lot of seedlings comming on. It has been a long time since I grew begonias from seed and probably sowed them too thickly. It does look like xanthina and one site put it as Begonia xanthina var. pictifolia. They all vary greatly so it will interesting to see what I get.
