An 8-10" round pot is ideal. Use a well draining potting mix (container planting mix). Try anotonelli's begonias (superior source).

They do best in bright shade, or dappled sunlight. Try to plant them somehwhere cool (e.g. no hot afternoon sun). Water only when top of soil shows sign of drying.

Tuberous begonias don't like the heat and humidity here in south Louisiana, and I assume they wouldn't much care for Florida either. There is one tuberous species that Plant Delights says will take more and I'm trying it this year, but I'll believe it when I see it. There are LOTS of gorgeous begonias that love Florida though, so maybe you could check some of them out.

I think dep is located in zone8b which would still be ok. Southern Florida (Tampa south) would not be a good idea.
Tuberous begonias generally dislike temperatures consistently in the high 90's, but zone 8b should still be fine if you can find a cool shaded spot in the garden.

I am just having trouble now finding some begonia's. I don't know if I can wait till the fall or next spring to start growing them!!! I want them NOW!!! And it seems no one around me has any cuttings to share :o(((

Tuberous begonias (roseform) are best started from tubers. They are not very expensive either. Cutting is used to propagate your existing stock. Try to find a tuber instead.
