I've not had any specific dealing with this company but I can say that all the plants they offer as "Nursery stock" are very easily grown from seed in flask (Calopogon, Dactilorhiza, Habenaria, Spiranthes) or in the case of Pogonia produce numerous plantlets from their root system making them easy to propagate (once you've mastered growing them that is).

As far as the white Calopogon, it is a rarer alba form of flower and would be impossible to "collect" from the wild as they are few and far between, but pollinating these flowers produce seed that comes true thus making it possible to produce quantities large enough for sale.

I have purchased the Calopogans from Botanique and from Carnivorous Plant Nursery. As far as I am concerned, those two sources are the best for a multitude of reasons.

I agree Botanique is amazing. Everything they send is beautiful, healthy and HUGE. But... I only buy from them when I want something special with immediate impact. Considering the quality plants they send they are not expensive, it's just that.... I'm cheap ; )

I buy from Dean Cook. He's a good guy and I love some of the truly oddball hybrids he has. I've bought some orchids from him in the past as well but you have to ask what he has in stock.
