When I asked a nurseryman at a place I shop about begonias here in Austin, he asked me if I'd ever been to Green Gate in Seguin (west of San Marcos which is just south of Austin). I was told the begonias there were breathtaking.

I took the hour drive and Lord have mercy! There were huge tables of rexes, canes, rhizomous... HUGE puts with several adult plants in the $4.50-9.99 range! The same stuff you'd spend $10+ for a 2.5" pot!
