I went to the refuge for Mississippi sand hill cranes in Jackson County in extreme southeast MS today, which is a large savannah with bayous running through it in places. Even though we've had incredibly dry weather for about 6 weeks, there were still some plants in bloom - swamp sunflowers, mainly, but also liatris and asters - and there were some pitcher plants and other bog plants there.

There was one plant that I can't identify. Is this some type of sundew? Thread-leaf sundew/Drosera filiformis is supposed to be green, and these plants were yellow - I'm referring to the two yellow plants growing straight up in the picture -
