Combine Rex With....????

I just put some gorgeous fairly young (4" high)'Escargot' and some of a similar color in a rectangular planter and am looking for something to fill in since these don't flower (at least not here in Chicagoland). Any suggestions as to what is a pretty combination or should I just enjoy their subtlety?

Escargot subtle? REALLY? It must be one of the showiest Rexes out there! When friends ask me why I'm so into Rexes I tell them because you don't have to rely on flowers to get a breathtaking plant.

I thought about what I posted afterward....you're right. They are gorgeous and now that they're a couple weeks old, filling in the planter nicely. I've had them before and I have no clue why I thought I needed anything else in there. I'm the one who doesn't like many flowers or much color in my garden!
