My begonia looks like a tree...is this normal?

Most canes will grow tall with time, and lower light levels make them stretch. I HACK mine back every year. I'll take 5' canes that are 5' across and make them 1 1/2' sticks - only to regrow by summer. Do not be afraid top cut, and increase the light levels. Greg
