That was an interesting journey trying to track down your citation. I wanted to see the picture to refresh my memory, and I thought maybe that was a new source of begonias too. I kept getting messages like 'can't find' or 'begonias.com can't find the requested page'. Do you have an old catalog or something? I believe Cloudy Valley is selling in local markets now but not from their website. You can probably buy it but I can't, in other words. Bummer! Anyway, and since no one else is answering, I can tell you my memory is of a beautiful plant, but it's one I no longer have. That might just mean it got over-looked when I was taking them in one fall, but it doesn't seem to me it every really throve. Can't remember when I had it. I grow a lot of canes, and they all have to put up with somewhat erratic care since my husband is ill, and also since I did cute little things like break both bones in my ankle quite thoroughly a few years ago. The tough ones hang in there and often seem to manage somehow to look beautiful. Some I've lost the labels for, or never had names in the first place, but Silvermist is amazingly tough and beautiful, and there's Little Miss Mummey and Cracklin' Rosie and one I think I've identified as Irene Nuss, and Kismet (a little one) and Nakomis--maybe try Sylvan Triumph a little later, or try two or three at the same time. That way if one doesn't do well, probably the other or others will, and you won't risk feeling like you can't grow begonias. Some may be hard for me and easy for you, and vice versa, but I'm sure you'll find some you love and can grow easily, and then you can try some more, and more---good luck!
