This seems to be a double double post post. And, your picture didn't make it (in this post or your first one).

The plants of this taxon that I have are tough as nails. Temps. last winer went down to 8 degrees F and didn't even slow it down. I believe a combination of wet feet and lack of adequate sunshine would certainly be quite damaging. Good Luck with this worrisome problem.
