dead head pansies

My pansies looked good up until about a week ago. I been removing the dead parts and was wondering how long could you do this before the plant just dies off?

Another question I have is my morning glories are just starting to bloom, around how long will they bloom, and will they come back next year? Last question, at the end of the season how far do i cut them back?

I give mine a good shearing each summer, followed by a bucket of water mixed with some plant food, and by the time cool weather returns they start to bloom again.

Morning glories bloom till the frost gets them. They are an annual but do reseed easily.

I haven't tried morning glories in years. When I did try them, they didn't do so well. I don't remember: do they have tendrils?

I don't think morning glories have tendrils. I think they just twine up. I always found them late to bloom here in zone 5, but they will cover a fence or arbor real quick. Then they bloom until a good frost. Heavenly blue is the most gorgeous blue you'll ever see.
