Andy, I am in no way an expert, especially not when it comes to Tillandsia, but I do remember a photo of Tillansia Tilli looking very similar to your second plant.

Andy, is this a collector's house?
The 1st one looks like bartramii or setecea, they're both Florida natives and nearly identical. The big one might be prodigiosa, not often seen in collections, or the rarer tillii.

Uh-oh Gonz, what would you say if I said it was at my house? Ha ha. No, I can't even pretend...they are at the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens (the vanilla vine snaking up past it in the last picture shows that its not here in SD). Whatever they are, I'm pretty sure they are at least regional if not local to PV area/Jalisco (of course, now that I say that I realize I can't be sure). Does that help narrow them down at all?

Oh, looking at FCBS I would definitely say tillii. Too bad I didn't get to see it in full bloom. Renate Ehlers photos show it quite well.

Thanks for the ID suggestions. There are just so many tills that until I start recognizing them, there isn't much use randomly clicking through the FCBS photo index as my mind goes numb after a couple of hundred pictures.
