Good for you, Vera. Now, it's fall- time to move the existing plants.

I know what you mean about the tomatoes. All of a sudden there are so many we can't get rid of them. I eat the cherry ones all day. We give them away, take them to work to give away. But the next day the table is covered again.

Not planning to move many existing plants this fall, but there are a few I'm chucking and adding to the compost pile....some Maltese Cross for sure. Lovely in the spring, but can't stand the foliage in the summer and it's too tall to hide well.

Composting maltese cross? Your pictures inspired me to plant them! Am I going to regret that?

You are welcome to come and help me move some perennials- I have a lot to move and sure would love some help! I might have to rent out space in the neighbors' yards :-)

It could be too that I don't water that often and may require more moisture than I provide...or could be the low summer humidity here :)
