Time to plant

OK, Here goes!!! I have read this forum, never have I heard of this. I understand the two liter bottles and milk jugs.

Do you leave the lid on and cut two or three slits in the top of the bottle? I have hardy Hibiscus,Datura and tomato seeds.

I am in zone 7 in DeWitt, Arkansas. When would I plant them?

Do you water them at all.

Could you start them outside like this and bring them inside to force sprouting sooner?

throw the lids away immediately,lol,u dont want to open a saved milk jug a month or so from now!! cut slits or holes in the bottom of containers for drainage.I wouldnt bring them inside for forcing sprouting sooner.They will know when its time for them to sprout..check out the faqs page,this will answer all your ?s.Welcome to wintersowing..TomVa

Wintersowing time starts after winter solstice.

Don't bring wintersown seeds into the heated house. Since our containers aren't started using sterile conditions, bringing them into a heated house might cause damp-off.
