Last year was the first time we had unopened chrysalises (about 12) in our yard that we moved into the garage in a mesh container for the winter. On Sunday (3/19) I was surprised to see that 5 of them had already emerged. The rest came out later in the week. Guess it's time to start stockpiling fennel.
