Fantastic in both ways.
It would be interesting to have followed the mirroring effect since it had begun, or right from the start. Two separated genetic material on a single plant..that is fantastic no doubt. Here it happens quite often but when we inspect closely we see two seedlings and not a splitting. This is wow!

Yeah, the skeptic in me would say two seedlings. But it is a grand effect. What a combination of color and texture. Love it!

I'm a skeptic too. I'd have to see it in the process of splitting, or at least the point where they were joined together to believe that's not two seedlings.

It is one seedling. I got it as a very small pup and its spliting heads. I will try to get closer pictures of it

That is seriously cool. My Dyckia addiction is taking hold and I just gotta getta Brittlestar. Never seen one on eBay here - I wonder if they are in the country?

That is very cool. If you separate it would it be considered a sport or would it take the same name?

That would be awesome if that was a trait to keep sending some that were scurfy and some that aren't. Would always be cool to have clumps that have both types there. Creates such a nice presentation.
