hello, im growing pineapples for the last 2 years but never withnessed a friut, although few of them has started growing suckers from the the shoot,

i have 2 questions if anyone knows:

1. if there are suckers does it mean that it is gonna flower? or i should add like apples to speed up the fruitning?

2. my plant has about 20 suckers, should i narrow them down or is it good that i have so many?
