Amaryllis/Hippeastrum

I have only grown an amaryllis once before - it was from Lowes and on sale. I think it was a single red.
I am looking for a suggestion - something floriferous and with greater possibility of multiple scapes.
I dont want to spend a fortune. May be $20, including shipping.
Any suggestions? and which vendor?

Hi! Check out the link below. It is from earlier this year and addresses your question about recommendations and lists many suppliers.

Most bulbs will put out 2 scapes; 4 blooms each is pretty typical.
