is this unusual for indoor culture?
i got the plant in fl last dec, the pup was just barely 1/2", the plant was in flower at that time.
i kept it indoors in very good early/late sun for 2 mo in fl and then continued here in NYC - kept it on a heat mat for a couple of months, while it was still cold outside and it was next to a window. so it continued to grow very well in warmth and sunlight.
it now gets sev hours of early sunrise and then late afternoon sun. i've been giving it some fertilizer regularly. it's been growing like crazy.
but i expected to have to wait 2-3 years for inflorescence - and am totally surprised to get it just after 6mo!
i am planning to grow in a cluster. and now am curious if there will be more pups ?
i noticed the spike just a week ago - it grew 6" ! in one week.
